Raising Disciple-Making Disciples

All Simple Churches participate in evangelism by having conversations and sharing the Gospel with students on campus or by serving and caring for vulnerable populations in our cities.

This mission happens through Simple Church. Simple Church is how we train, equip, and empower students to become disciple-makers in fulfillment of the Great Commission.

In Simple Church, students have the opportunity to take the next step in their faith journey with the Simple Church apprenticeship through training courses on spiritual rhythms, multiplication, and leadership. In addition to on-the-ground leadership opportunities to become a disciple-maker and a Simple Church Leader.

LIFT now has nine campus churches, started by sending trained, ordinary believers to plant a Simple Church on a new campus.

Based on our conviction from scripture that all people are called to make disciples, we firmly believe that anyone can be sent to plant a church with training and equipping.

Each campus church plant starts as a single Simple Church - a group of missionaries who meet students and together multiple times a week to study scripture, serve their campus and city, and worship together on Sundays.

As the single Simple Church grows, leaders are raised up creating more space to start new Simple Churches, both on existing and new campuses.
